Getting the Right Image Captions in Web Design
Image captions are elements of web design that don't get the attention they warrant. When designing a layout for your website, look at how the designer captions the images. It is said that people read captions more than they do the body text. Captions serve to clarify images and their purposes. Consult with experts in web design Leicester to find out the plan regarding captioning image on your site.

The Most Important Element Of Modern Web Design
One thing became clear when 2010 came and went: mobile phones are here to stay. And stay they have. Not only that, but they've overtaken desktops in many areas of the web, too. More and more apps and services are aimed specifically at mobile users, with no (or weaker) desktop releases. In at least one month of 2016, Google reported more searches from mobiles than from desktops.

3 Major Mistakes Small Business Websites Must Avoid
First impressions are everything. There's nowhere this is more true than in the arena of web design. Yes, the "arena", because if one small business has a fantastic website and their competitor has one that's harder to navigate, that'll affect how customers think of each one. And odds are, the business with the better website will be getting more customers out of it.

How Great Web Design Could Lead to International Success
A recent survey revealed that 94% of businesses in Leicestershire are small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that employ fewer than 20 people. As all locals will be aware, the city is more ethnically diverse than most UK cities outside London, and many fruitful business relationships with partners in Asia, China, and so on already exist.

Is Web Design Too Complex For Non-Professionals?
Anybody can hop online and sign up for a Content Management System
(CMS), such as WordPress, Maganto, Blogger, etc., and create their own
website, but the industry and the Internet have changed so much that

site.

Deadly Sins Of Mobile Web Design
Mobile-friendly
web design is supposed to offer convenience for people who still look to be
connected while on the go. Yet, not a lot of web designers these days are up to
speed with keeping the experience worthwhile, committing a number of deadly web
design “sins.”
Slow Page Loading
– Mobile-friendly web design is intended for—well, just about anyone in
this digital age who need their information fast, with little time to wait. A slow-loading page is a huge no-no, especially for mobile users. Slow page loading adversely
affects the overall performance of the website that has been specifically designed
to grab the attention of users within seconds. If the page loads slowly, it loses
users. A simple trade-off.
Unclear Icons – A good
number of sites use the so-called “hamburger” menu, which is characterized by three
stacked lines often found at the upper left hand corner of the site. This menu is
supposed to show primary navigation options, so it makes sense to populate it with
icons whose functions to users are crystal-clear.
Too Much Text – The text-only
formula only applies in novels.
Mobile websites meant to be seen on varying screen sizes must never be loaded with excessive amounts of
text, which can easily infuriate users due to poor readability.
