Is Web Design Too Complex For Non-Professionals?

Anybody can hop online and sign up for a Content Management System (CMS), such as WordPress, Maganto, Blogger, etc., and create their own website, but the industry and the Internet have changed so much that building your own website with a CMS isn’t enough for a top performing site.

Competing Online Is More Difficult Than Ever

If you want a website that ranks above others and is able to compete in such a turbulent environment, you need dynamic content, sales funnels, cookies, top-level security, and you need a responsive website that alters the way it appears to compensate for whatever device is used to view it. Therefore, to answer the question “is web design is too complex these days?”, the answer is a solid yes. It is too complex for most non-professionals to handle, which is why web design companies are becoming very popular again.

Web Design Companies Are On The Up

Over the last decade the web design industry has had a tough time because people have been signing up for CMS programs and building their own websites. Now the web design industry is becoming stronger because CMS programs are not built to handle the demands that clients and users place on websites. It is not enough to simply have a website: it needs to be search engine friendly, adaptable, flexible; and able to sell products, services and ideas to users. It needs to be linked and optimized with social media; and it needs to be easily sharable via the many platforms that exist these days.
